Appreciation.

oh yeah i said i will think of a topic to post.
so this is it.
haha. :D
hmm, many of us only knows how to appreciate and cherish
only when you lost something or someone.
hmm, there was a time
during the PSC camp in june09
i invited mr chua over to give the councilors
a training on passion.
at the last part of the training
he asked us to do up a mindmap.
one of the question was,
if you have one day left to live,
what will you do.
my answer was to spend my day with family and friends.
actually, your answer that you had,
reflects upon how your situation of daily life
that you are in right now i guess.
so yeah, i heard some of the answers.
not that they are wrong,
because different people has different perspective.
however, parents are the ones that gave birth to you,
as in bring you to this amazing world,
i think no matter what it is,
you have to be thankful for the fact.
they went through the pain and trouble,
gave in and work their best for the money
to provide you a living.
you see, diapers and milk powder nowadays ain't cheap.
feeding a child can cost a bomb i guess.
and i find it very kinda noble.
parents have to wake up every midnight to
feed the baby cause they will cry.
and it's a must, despite having to wake up early for work the next day.
i think its the sacrifires they need to make.
for the repay the kids will have to make in the future.
ok perhaps not repay, i just don't have another word.
well, im sad that some children does not appreciate their parents,
or conversely, some parents do not appreciates their children.
im glad that my family is a very peace and harmony one.
so i think children ought to earn money and dote on their parents
when they grow up. perhaps some of the parents doesn't dote on them
but then i think it is still a "ought to" thing to treat them well.
i guess this is something i have really learnt through writing my compo.
it's talks about this pampered kid,
that behaves like a king and is very rebellious,
having his mother to serve him like a maid.
one day just as the mother had an accident,
he had to do all the chores and everything by himself,
at that time, he then realise the importance of his mother beside him.
so i think all of us must learn how to appreciate others, and the people around you.
because you should be thankful for that.
when others help you or do something for you,
a "thankyou" is not very hard to say,
or even you can show your appreciation,
by making a little card or buying a gift.
i think the receiver will feel great if he/she is appreciated.
i don't know about others, but it's a definitely thing for me.
i guess i will feel very touched, or perhaps gets emotional..
so i guess, every little things matters.
i used to be a shy person i guess.
every little appreciative things, i need to do it privately.
like blog it, sms, or only when one to one i will say it.
for example the recent case:
amirah send me home, i need to blog it to thank her.
my daddy bought me a phone,
only when im with him alone in the car then i thanked him.
it's like so shy you know. hahaha :D
*blushes.
hoho, a kinda long post.
