15th student leader convention!
oh yeah people!
im back from 15 SLC!
yesterday was the last day.
i enjoyed myself totally laa!
ok let me give you a brief on what happened for the 4 days.
first day;
woke up damn early.
took bus to hwa chong.
was kinda lost.
registered. moved in to the auditorium,
had some briefings and introduction
separated into groupings.
ok let me tell you,
there are 10 youth councils.
namely youth council A to J
under one youth council there's 3 faculty
under one faculty, there's around 12 people?
around there la.
my group is SCORPAE!
under youth council F
bryan's was NORMAE!
oso under youth council F.
another group with us was COLUMBAE!
as for pathetic karen,
her group is LYNCIS!
under youth council G
which is saddenly different from us.
got into our homerooms,
and played ice breakers.
played the tempo game, concentration, some note game.
oh well, group was kinda dead.
after that had mass game with the entire youth council F
played chicken feet. was quite fun.
haha 3 guys were selected to do forfeit.
photos will be uploaded.
after which had orientation games,
it was amazing race in the school.
stations were conducted in classrooms.
quite fun la, but then it was very rush.
and the stations, though its in the school,
it was still kinda faraway.
far enough to make you damn tired.
their school is really big la.
my tian.
oh well, i bonded with my group i guess.
had banner making during the last part.

bused and dinnered with karen.
second day;
met up in school for IC,
cut queue. haha.
bused to hwa chong,
reached and they were having morning reception.
food was kinda nice.
off to informal meeting within faculty
on our action papers.
action papers means proposal
each youth council got 3 groups,
one group on 3 topics respectively.
there's HEALTH, EDUCATION and COMMUNITY.
my faculty was health,
Columbae was education.
bryan's Normae was community.
was given around 3 hrs to do everything up.
discussion was ok i guess.
after which had youth council meeting,
where the 3 grps come together
to present the action papers to rest.
and fight for more budget.
it was and open debate, which was quite fun.
before the budget debate,
we had a "debate"
where other groups can suggest and give their opinions
on our action paper.
as it was a formal meeting,
the chair person will be like
"cheering, clapping and laughing is strictly not allowed.
note passing should be used if were to communicate.
electronic devices are nto allowed to be used too."
so i got this group member whose voice
sounds like the gingerbreadman in shrek.
haha he's a debator, so everytime he is the one
rebutting and etc.
first day presentation,
each group had 2 action papers.
i presented the second one, was kinda lost and nervous.
cause its so quiet and everybody is looking at you la.
was quite ok i guess, my group got the most budget.
third day;
was all those meetings again,
editted action papers.
and presented again.
was open for amendments.
had quite a fun time la.
haha i cant help but to laugh when gingerbreadman talks.
haha, so cute like that.
his friendly lor.
oh yeah hwa chong guys are so enthu when they cheer. so high u noe.
i like really cant believe wat i see. haha.
learnt the bubblegum cheer.
azuka azuka bubblegum!
after which had practises for finale.
had chair dance.
was quite ok. oh yeah our song as no longer shut up and drive.
it was poker face mix with wind it up.
the guys was in the end by linkin park i think.
our dance is
guys dance first,
then they leave and girls enter.
girls dance, followed by my side dance then chicky dance.
haha, so funny lor.
oh yeah during my days there, i had lotsa mosquito bites.
grrrr.
last day;
had a nation state meeting
which all the youth council come together to present the selected action papers.
aww too bad out group wasn't selected.
youth council J was the one.
and youth council A was also selected.
was like dozing off during the meeting.
haha, too tired and too boring alr la.
best action plan was youth council I
hai, feel a little sad that my youth council F did
not win anything.
haha, we call ourselves "F YOUTH"
you know what i mean.. haha.
then best speaker for my youth council F was zhong quan!
he's the chreographer for the guys dance.
nice guy! and he got a cool camera.
after that was lunch then practise,
then finale. F YOUTH was so high.
haha, i screamed and clapped and jumped like crazy ok.
different youth councils went up to perform,
F YOUTH was the last.
haha like so nervous okay.
halfway through we played "don't forget the lyrcis"
haha, was quite fun, basically the whole auditorium was singing.
many of the performances was funny.
guys acting gays and etc. very high ok.
then lastly was F YOUTH de turn
haha, i was like lost lor,
suddenly forget the steps.
but oh well, i tink we ROCK!
FACs and OTs had their dance too.
good job people!
thanks for everything.
oh yeah i bought gummies for my faculty.
and i did cards for them
my FAC gave me cards too.
plus doritos. and alicia bought prinkles.
haha was like party time.
basically some hot songs that everybody know how to sing.
and was repeated in some performances are:

went back had F YOUTH photo taking.
and had presentations.
i will go and grab photos from zhong quan,
whose camera had a remote controller
and press and let the timer go.
haha, v cool ok. we were like camwhoring as a whole
haha, imagine that.
after that took photos with my faculty and randoms.
ate and went to meet bryan n karen.
took photos with the huge banner,
where all the banner the faculty did were combine into a big one.
very cool ok. lucky it did not rain these days.
if not the banner will be ruined.
bid goodbye, exchanged contacts.
and bused back to sk.
dinnered with my gays.
being a long time luh.
as usual, they were crapping randomly.
haha.
i kinda miss the moments i was stoning in the bus.
laming with my faculty.
controlling my laughters during formal meeting
and crapping with my F YOUTH.
aww. i hope to go hwa chong and have this kind of convention again.
